Terms of Use

Effective date: 11 October 2026 · App: Revive (com.revivesupport.revive) · Contact: support@revive-support.com

Revive is provided by N7 CYBER CONSULTANCY LTD, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC875993) with its registered office at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN ("we", "us"). By installing or using Revive you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these terms.

1. What Revive is

Revive is a self-imposed content blocker for Android. You choose what to block, protect those choices with a PIN and, if you wish, an accountability partner. Revive also includes habit tracking, goals and a focus timer. It is a tool to support decisions you have already made; it is not a medical, psychological or counselling service, and it is not a substitute for professional help.

2. Who may use it

You must be 18 or over. Revive is designed for adults who want to limit their own access to content; it is not a parental-control product and must not be installed on another person's device without their knowledge and agreement.

3. No account

Revive does not require an account. Your PIN, two-factor key and settings live on your phone. If you lose your PIN and your recovery options, we cannot recover it for you.

4. Revive Plus (subscription)

5. Accountability partner

If you nominate a partner, you confirm that you have their agreement to be contacted, that the details you enter are theirs, and that you understand what they will receive (see the Privacy Policy). Your partner may decline or withdraw at any time, and we honour that. Partner alerts are sent on a best-effort basis through third-party email and SMS providers; delivery and timing are not guaranteed.

6. How blocking works, and its limits

Blocking works through a local VPN, an accessibility service and the lists you set. It is effective but not absolute: another app, a system update, a device setting, or a browser we cannot read may let content through, and some blocks may appear a moment after a page starts to load. Revive is not a security product and does not protect against malware, fraud or other users of the device. You remain responsible for your own choices and for keeping your PIN and partner arrangements secure.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Revive to monitor, control or restrict another person without their informed agreement; to interfere with any network, service or device you are not entitled to use; or to attempt to circumvent, reverse engineer or tamper with the app, its protections or our servers, except as the law allows.

8. Changes to the service

We may update Revive, add or remove features, and change these terms. Material changes will be shown in the app's release notes and here, with a new effective date. If you continue to use Revive after a change, you accept it. If you do not, uninstall the app and cancel any subscription in Google Play.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Revive is provided "as is": we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or that every block will succeed, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from content that is not blocked, from alerts that are delayed or not delivered, or from your use of the app contrary to these terms. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Revive Plus in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights as a consumer to rely on the mandatory protections of the law where you live.
